Inspired: Gucci Spring-Summer 2008

It's always interesting to see how major designer collections inspire the clothing available at mass retailers. For Spring-Summer 2008 Gucci created a collection heavy on black, yellow, beige and a coral-pink. Most notably were the graphic and floral prints in black and yellow. You can see an example of that seasonal print in the dress above. While browsing Rich Girl favorite Forever 21, I stumbled on the dress below. While the shape is clearly unrelated, the colors and print are almost identical. A little Gucci-esque, no?

Fabulous: Sex and the City Manolo's

For every girl that saw the Sex and the City movie these shoes will be very familiar! They are the shoes Carrie places in the uber-gorgeous closet Mr. Big built for her. The glamorous Manolo's dazzled on the big screen and will undoubtedly dazzle on your feet too! The Manolo Blahnik Something Blue Satin Pumps are limitedly available at Neiman Marcus. Sex & the City's Kristen Davis attended the 5th annual P.S. Arts bag lunch in Bel-Air this week. Kristen donned a beige dress by Moschino and I am completely in love with it. The small pleating flatters her figure and the pale color does nothing but compliment her skin. Rich Girl is inspired to find her own beige-beauty dress asap!

Inspired: Molly Sims and her Yellow Cardigan

Molly Sims and Emily Deschanel both wore head to toe Donna Karan when they attended a party honoring the American designer. After I saw Molly's bright yellow cardigan, I knew I had to find (and quickly buy) my own. Crazy enough, as I browsed my usual online sites there were no yellow cardigans to be found. I did find these two at Victoria's Secret. Pretty close, no?
